Lovejoy update

I know the weather is rubbish, but if any gaps appear in the cloud on any night over the next week or so, do try and find Comet Lovejoy in the sky. It’s now high in the sky after dark, moving up towards the Pleiades, and is bright enough to just be glimpsed with the naked eye from a dark site, and very easy to see in binoculars. I was out looking at it last night with Carol, and here’s how it went…
